Welcome Hood Distribution of Charleston was established in 1988, and operated under the name McEwen Lumber Company until 2006. Located in a 29,000 square foot warehouse just west of downtown Charleston, we service coastal South Carolina from Hilton Head Island to Myrtle Beach, and west to Columbia. Our staff consists of ten hardwood lumber and plywood experts, including a sales staff with over 40 years of combined industry experience. We keep approximately $1 million worth of inventory in stock in Charleston and approximately $30 million company-wide. Hood Distribution has grown our business, even during tough times, by upholding our commitments to customers with honesty and integrity.
