Welcome The McQuesten Group’s Manchester CT branch of Hood Distribution was opened in 1998 on the site previously used by Manchester Lumber. The branch was established to provide better service our customers in Connecticut, Western MA, SE NY State, Long Island, and Northern NJ. Our business has been built through long lasting customer partnerships with the independent local retail lumberyards. Our mission is to meet the product quality and service expectations of our customers and become a true resource in the successful management of their business. Our facility covers 5 acres with over 30,000 sq.ft. of covered storage area. We are focused on high quality/in demand products that enhance our customer’s business. We have access to timber sizer and planer used for custom milling of Douglas Fir. Developing our reputation for integrity and goodwill continues to be our utmost goal.
