Welcome The Memphis facility was built in 1975 as International Paper Company Building Materials Distribution which primarily served retail lumber dealers. After an IP acquisition in 1987, we started doing business as McEwen Lumber Company. Already having the building materials experience and customer base, we began to cater to architectural millwork houses, cabinet shops, and furniture manufacturers. Hood Industries purchased McEwen from IP in 1995, and we are now doing business as Hood Distribution/McEwen Group. The name may have changed, but we have the same experienced staff that will assist you in a courteous manner. Our 8 acre facility with 80,000 square feet of covered storage is located in the southern Memphis area. This location enables us to effectively service an approximate 200 mile radius of Memphis. Our mission remains to build and maintain lasting relationships with our customers by offering high quality products along with excellent service. Download:
