Welcome The Mobile facility began serving customers in 1986 as part of International Papers acquisition from Hammermill's Forest Products Division. In 1995, McEwen was bought by Hood Industries and today we conduct business as Hood Distribution/McEwen Group. Strategically located in the Brookley Complex at the tip of Mobile Bay, we are able to service customers from Baton Rouge, Louisiana up to Montgomery, Alabama and eastward to Panama City Beach, Florida. Our 160,000 square foot facility enables us to stock hardwood and softwood lumber, domestic and import plywood, a full line of mdf products and mouldings for our customers. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide retail lumber yards, millwork, cabinet and industrial customers with quality products and exceptional service. Our focus and strategy is to be the distributor of choice through meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers.
