LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber)

Temlam is produced in Amos, Quebec at one of the world's largest LVL plants by Jager EWP. Made soley from Aspen, it is available in 1.9E & 2.0E. Produced 1-3/4" thick x 5-1/2" through 24" depths. Also available in 1-1/2" thick for modular construction and soon to be available in 3-1/2" thickness. We do mill-direct shipments to stocking yards and can do mixed trucks with I-Joists for large projects.

JSI Joists

Manufactured in Canada from MSR Spruce fiber by Jager EWP. Jager is an APA-EWS member mill and all joists are produced to PRI-400 Performance Standard for Wood I-Joists.

Glu-Lam Wood Beams

We stock Architectural Appearance Grade Southern Pine Glu-Lam Beams for prompt delivery. Our beams are made to a 24F-V5 combination (Fb = 2400 psi, E = 1,700,000 psi, Fv = 270 psi), have no camber, and are individually wrapped.

We have the following sizes in stock (stored inside):
3-1/8" x: 5-1/2", 8-1/4", 9-5/8", 12-3/8"
5-1/8" x: 9-5/8", 11", 12-3/8", 13-3/4", 15-1/8", 16-1/2", 17-7/8"

Engineered Wood Columns

We stock "Power Columns" from Anthony Forest Products. These are combination 50 Southern Pine Glulam columns (E=1,900,000 psi; fb=2100 psi, fc=2300 psi). They are a non-appearance column (framing grade).

• 5-1/2" x: 5-1/2", 7"

"Lock-Deck" Laminated Wood Decking

Hood Distribution is the New England distributor of "Lock-Deck" produced by Disdero Lumber (formerly produced by Potlatch).

We stock the nominal 3" x 6" (2-3/16" x 5-1/4" actual) in Douglas Fir/Larch in the Decorative grade, smooth sanded face, V-joint, T&G edges and ends.

Special orders can be placed for 2", 3", 4" & 5" in nominal thickness in 6" & 8" nominal widths in a variety of patterns in Douglas Fir/Larch, Ponderosa Pine, Western (Inland) Red Cedar, and Southern Pine.

Factory prefinishing is available on mill orders of 5000 or more bf.

2x6 Nominal Wood Roof & Floor Decking

We stock a variety of 2"x6" CM, EV1S decking products for roof and floor applications.

• KD Douglas Fir Select Decking - excellent product run from Select Structural Stock. Good choice when being used with our Douglas Fir timbers.
• KD Lodgepole Pine/Ponderosa Pine - Gilchrist Select Decking. An excellent western pine product that has been the choice of many customers for over 20 years.
• Dry Eastern Spruce - A good quality economical Decking.
• KD Southern Pine - SPIB Select Structural run to the T&G pattern, available in 2"x6" and 2"x8".

Pressure Treated Glu-Lam

Permapost K-8 Treatment for above ground use. 24F-1.8 So. Pine Framing (Non-appearance) Grade, APA/EWS Certified.
